Carl Johan Holse Justesen was born in 1999 in Copenhagen and began his football journey at B 1903 before joining the FC Copenhagen youth academy; he had his first Superliga experience in 2017. During his loan spell at Esbjerg fB, he developed his football intelligence and scored 3 goals. In 2020, he moved to Norway and made a name for himself at Rosenborg with an 18-goal performance. Holse joined Samsunspor in the summer of 2023, and in his second season became the team’s top scorer, standing out with his reliable and consistent attacking contributions.

Holse wore the national jersey at a young age and, in 2025, made his debut for the Denmark senior national team, opening a new chapter in his career. He emphasized that “playing consistently with the same group of players” contributed to increased harmony and confidence in Samsunspor’s success. Holse also formed an emotional bond with the fans, describing the atmosphere in the stands by saying, “I felt this way for the first time in my life.”
