Emre Kılınç began his football career in the Boluspor youth academy and proved himself in the TFF 1. Lig with 20 goals in 125 matches between 2011 and 2017. He found his opportunity to rise to the Süper Lig at Sivasspor, where he attracted attention with 22 goals in 107 league matches and became one of the key players who helped the club reach the top division. In the summer of 2020, he moved to Galatasaray, where he contributed 9 goals in a total of 78 matches over two seasons. Afterwards, Kılınç was loaned to Ankaragücü, providing valuable contributions in midfield and on the wings.

In the summer of 2023, the experienced winger joined Samsunspor on a free transfer. So far, he has scored 7 goals in 64 matches for the red-and-white team, and in the 2024–25 season, he stood out with 3 goals and 12 assists in 31 league matches. This impressive performance led the Samsunspor management to extend his contract until 2028.

Kılınç has also appeared on the international stage, joining the senior Turkish National Team in 2019 after playing for the youth categories. His goal is to earn another call-up to the national team by continuing his success at Samsunspor and to add new motivation to his football career.
