We are thrilled to announce that Samsunspor CMO, Zeycan Rochelle YILDIRIM has been 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗 at the World Football Summit Awards.

Recognized by Women in Soccer for the 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, Zeycan earned this nomination for her vision and execution behind the 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 — a club-wide initiative dedicated to ending male violence against women by:

🟪 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 women with self-defense

🟪 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 psychological support to women affected by violence

🟪 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 gender-equality education across the club

🟪 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 women and girl's access to football

🟪 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 the next generation of women leaders

The project turned the Samsunspor brand into a platform for 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 prevention, education and support proving that:

Building on 5 years of the Purple Jersey project, we remain fully committed to supporting 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 as we set new benchmarks in modern Turkish football.
